Beatwolf is a relatively new music magazine with an online and offline format, but their website was not going to earn them any advertising revenue as it stood – with low visitor numbers, poor user experience, lack of time spent on site and un-engaging content. Ultimately, Beatwolf wanted to:

  • Increase unique visitors by +400%
  • Generate an advertising income

Solution

Jungle spent time with Beatwolf, really getting under the skin of the business to fully understand the brand and their audience, building a marketing strategy to encompass SEO, Social Media, Display Advertising and even went that step further to assist with the brand awareness by organising worldwide music events. Analysing the website, it was apparent that the user experience needed to be enhanced. Starting with the optimisation of the site navigation, we went on to adapt the content to boost organic rankings on all major search engines. Video content throughout the site was significantly increased and the site was optimised for mobile access, due to the major growth in this area. Jungle launched a targeted online advertising campaign aimed at a broad music audience in line with Beatwolf’s brand positioning and incorporated customised advertising space including a Homepage Takeover for maximum exposure and to avoid user familiarities such as ‘banner blindness’.
